Water resistance test

In the packaging, there is a test instrument that is relatively simple and fast compared to the national inspection process. The imported equipment is a water tank made of glass plate. The tubular distilled water is dripped on the inclined surface of the cardboard at a 45-degree angle to form a water column. Then the water droplets will form sliding marks on the paperboard. The change track of the trace can be used to judge the waterproof performance of the paperboard. Good or bad. This detection method can be said to be faster and immediate.
Adhesive water resistance test
The main reason for the softening failure of the cardboard is that the bonding point absorbs the moisture in the air circulation and then spreads from the water gradient where the water gradient is low, so that the cardboard fails within a week or two. According to reports, foreign companies attach great importance to the adhesive water resistance of corrugated board. Among the foreign orders that have been packaged, customers in the United States, Sweden and other countries have higher requirements for the waterproof index of cardboard, and usually need to meet the international ISO1038 standard promulgated in 1975.
Compared with foreign countries, domestic adhesive water resistance testing and standards have lagged behind for more than 30 years. At present, the basis for judging the water resistance of cardboard in the industry is the water-resistant cardboard standard issued by China on September 1, 2009. Achieved packaging has the only imported cardboard adhesive water resistance testing instrument in China. Therefore, unfortunately, this performance is still unable to achieve third-party testing in China. The packaging will initially be sent to Switzerland for testing.
According to Zhang Huizhong, the principle of adhesive water resistance testing is to cut the cardboard into a standard sample, and then cut it from the middle, lifting it from the top of the five points of force, and hanging the 250 gram crane below. hammer. But nowadays, recruitment is hard to find, and carton packaging companies are no different. Many foreign companies and large domestic enterprises now use packaging lines. Among them, dye companies have the largest business volume, usually requiring at least several million sheets of cardboard per month, and each carton has a weight of 25 kg. In this way, an ordinary company needs to carry at least 2,000 cartons per day. However, the reality is that there are a shortage of porters and packers on a large number of packaging lines.
