Book Packaging Requirements and Methods (I)

There is no uniform standard for the packaging of books and magazines. The following packaging requirements are based on some provisions of the Xinhua Bookstore's storage and transportation company. They are not standards and are for reference only.

First, the packaging requirements

(1) Hardcover books are packed in kraft paper of 80g/m2 or more; paperback books are packed in kraft paper of 70g/m2 or more. If it is packaged in other paper, the paper must be tough and not brittle.

(2) According to the user's request, the books shipped to other cities may be in cartons or other forms of packaging.

(3) book packaging specifications.

1 package height. According to the size of the book, the height of each package is listed in Table 9-1.

2 sets of books a price to be packaged; sub-priced pricing to be individually packaged.

3 Packing Hardcover Book With plastic cover and paperback book with plastic cover, a blank sheet of the same size as the open book of the book should be placed between this book and this book to avoid sticking.

4 Wrap the wrapping paper on both sides of the package to secure it tightly.

5 When there is a difference in the thickness of a book paper, a thick book is the standard for packaging.

(6) The number of crosses per knife in each pack is set out in Table 9-2.
