Use and maintenance
1. Remove the protective cap of the electrode, align it clockwise with the interface of the instrument and gently turn it clockwise (without excessive force) to turn on the power switch, insert the electrode into the solution being tested, and the instrument displays the pH value of the solution. To lock the number, lock the switch to the reading. After the measurement is completed, turn off the power, release the lock, remove the electrode, and put on the electrode protective sleeve (the protective sleeve is filled with potassium chloride protective solution).
2. Instrument standard: The instrument has been calibrated before leaving the factory. If it is not used for a long time, it will be re-enabled and other situations require calibration. Before the measurement, calibrate. For the calibration method, please refer to the instruction manual "four. Instrument Standards".
3. When the instrument is not used for a long time and it is re-enabled, the glass bulb of the measuring electrode should be soaked in saturated potassium chloride solution for 1 hour. When immersed, the electrode should not be immersed in the solution too deep (insert 2-3 cm), and the electrode connector should not be wet.
4. Maintenance
a) The measuring electrode should be cleaned with distilled water, and the electrode connector should not be wetted during cleaning.
b) The connection between the electrode and the instrument should be kept highly clean and dry. If there are stains, use 99% alcohol to clean it.
c) When the display of the instrument fades, please replace the battery, and pay attention to the positive and negative electrodes of the electrode (red is the positive electrode) when installing a new battery.
Calibration of the instrument

1. Positioning calibration: Insert the electrode into the buffer solution of PH6.86 (25 ℃), adjust the positioning with professional tools (accessory screwdriver), so that the instrument displays the nominal PH value of the solution at the current temperature. (See the solution packaging for the pH value of the standard buffer solution at different temperatures)
2. Slope calibration: Insert the electrode into the buffer solution at pH 4.00 (25 ° C) or 9.18 (25 ° C), (pH4.00 when measuring acid solution; pH9.18 when alkaline), use professional tools to adjust the slope To make the instrument display the nominal pH value of the solution at the current temperature (see the solution packaging for the pH value of the standard buffer solution at different temperatures). Calibration is complete. To obtain accurate measurement results, the temperature of the measured water sample should be consistent with the temperature of the buffer during calibration.
