(1) The ambient temperature is too high, which will greatly affect the Karl Fischer reagent. The first is the volatility of the reagent. At high temperature, the reagent volatility rate increases, causing loss and reducing the life span until failure. Secondly, in the process of electrolyzing water in the instrument, excessive temperature will have a certain impact on the electrolysis time, speed, repeatability and stability of the instrument.
(2) The use environment is poor, the external interference is increased, the signal collection and transmission of the measuring electrode is difficult, and the anti-interference ability is weakened, which causes the instrument to measure the moisture inaccurately.
(3) The electronic components of the main board in the trace moisture analyzer exceed its heat resistance, and the heat resistance is weakened. At the same time, the heat radiation is enhanced, and some electronic components are easily burned, resulting in unstable performance of the instrument main board.
(4) The water vapor in the high-temperature and high-humidity environment increases, and the probability of the sample absorbing moisture increases. The measurement result will have a large error, resulting in inaccurate measurement. Sampling details must be paid attention to in summer.
In high-temperature environments, there are many uncertainties in the use of trace moisture analyzers. Therefore, it is recommended that users place them in laboratories equipped with air conditioners, turn on the air conditioners to cool down and dehumidify before measuring samples, to avoid high temperature interference with the instrument. Conditional, of course, should be tested in a constant temperature and humidity environment. It is necessary to operate in a glove box with extremely strict moisture requirements.
