The design of the alarm device is another major improvement. The designer of the Memovox Polar Alarm Watch strives to develop an alarm system that can make a loud sound underwater. In order to prevent the alarm sound from being weakened by the watch touching the diving suit, the case is specially designed with a triple bottom cover. The first layer of copper bottom cover helps the alarm to resonate; the second layer of waterproof bottom cover protects the internal devices from water seepage; and the third layer of bottom cover is provided with 16 hollows to ensure that the alarm sound can be transmitted in the water.
