The Rise of Modern Chinese Printing Industry 1.2

Section 2 Establishment of Printing Associations and Printing The Rise of Scientific Research, Education and Publishing

In the tide of the modern printing industry of the Chinese nation, with the establishment of numerous official and private printing institutions, the printing communities represented by the “Chinese Printing Society”, including similar printing associations, have also established one after another. The emergence of schools in the form of print education and the publication of printed books and magazines also followed. This created a new situation in which the modern printing industry of the Chinese nation has risen in an all-round way and is completely different from the rise and development of traditional printing. People saw the glory and hope of China Printing once again.

I. Printing and Printing > Establishment of Societies

From the beginning of the 1980s, the Shi Shi Zhai Shi Yin Shu, which was founded by the Bureau of Letters and Letters and the Shi Shi Shan Fang and broke through the British investigation, was counted on in the limestone industry and formed a three-legged situation. It was in the mid-1930s. With the establishment and development of some large or influential modern printing enterprises such as the Commercial Press, Zhonghua Book Bureau, World Book Bureau, Civilization Book Bureau, and Dadong Book Bureau, and many small and medium-sized printing companies are springing up, Shanghai is printing as a national modern print. The central position of industry is gradually established. At that time, Shanghai not only had the largest number, scale, and production capacity of printing companies in the country, but also led the printing and scientific research, printing and education, publishing of printed books and magazines, and even production of printing equipment and equipment. In particular, the creation of the printing society, the first academic group in China's printing history, the China Printing Society, and its great efforts in obtaining research, dissemination and development of modern printing industry in China, and training of printing technology professionals. The brilliant achievements have pushed the rise of China's printing industry to a climax, opening up a brand-new situation and trend in China's printing history.

In May 1935, the Chinese Printing Society was born at 58 Guangyuli, Maclean Road, Linyi Road, Shanghai. At that time, the China Printing Society set up an executive committee consisting of five to seven people (bylaws). It consists of three departments: general affairs, education, and research. The following year, the Institute moved to No. 8, Lane 199, Xieqiao Road, Shanghai, and set up the council in December of the same year. The council consists of five members: Yu Zhonghua, Tang Jingyuan, Yan Wenrong, Liu Yuqing and Shen Lianfang. Yu Zhonghua served as chairman of the board of directors, Tang Jingyuan served as vice chairman, Ruan Wenrong as secretary, and Liu Yuqing as an accountant. There are 26 members. The Council has a magazine editorial committee chaired by Liu Yuqing and members include Wen Wenrong, Gao Yuanzai, Shen Liwu and Gu Qiushui.

After the establishment of the Chinese Printing Society, it actively carried out work in printing and scientific research, printing education, printing and publishing, and established several kinds of printing technical publications such as “Chinese Printing” and “Chinese Printing”; various new types such as phototypesetting, flat intaglio, etc. Equipment, materials, and technology were studied and gratifying achievements were made. Actively and informally, a printing school or a professional class was established and dedicated to the training of printing talents. The establishment of the Chinese Printing Society has made important contributions to the development of China's modern printing industry, marking that China's printing industry has entered a new historical period.

In view of the important position of the founding of the "Chinese Printing Society" in the history of Chinese printing, and the historical value of creating materials such as "origins" and the "statutes" of the society, we have special reference to "the origins of the Association," "this Chapter," and "this Council." The original materials such as the second amendment, the current staff of the Association, and the existing membership record are published in full text for readers.

The origin of this association

The times are constantly advancing, and all things and things, if not together with the times, will be those who fall behind the times and fall behind people of the times: the people of the world will be inferior to the people! We are Chinese, we are Chinese people engaged in printing technology, China is a backward country, our printing technology, naturally can not be alone, so we do not have to talk about the big if the political economy, etc., we only need to inspect our own printing process.

The printing process is not directly related to the actual life of our people. Therefore, we do not pay attention to the people. However, people who are engaged in the printing process are unwilling to give up and give up because people do not attach importance to it and they do not care. People do not advocate it, and they do not Self-initiated.

The printing process is an important tool for the cultural industry. The popularization of education needs liying and printing, the dissemination of ideas, the printing of li-lai, the communication of culture, the printing of liri-in, the exchange of intellectual ideas, the printing of Li Zhi, and everything in the world. The development of the business does not require Li-Lai's printing. If it is still in the era of bamboo slips, how will the literacy of the people be universalized? If now is still the era of Bamboo Slips, how can people's literacy books be widely distributed?

The printing in the world today is new and ever-changing. Regardless of the technology of letterpress lithography, it has entered another era. The technology of plate making has changed from the manual era to the era of using optical chemistry. The printing machinery has been an hour. There is nothing strange about the ability of dozens of strengths to reach more than 10,000 pieces. It is nothing more than a need for the needs of the knowledge society. Because the advancement of human knowledge, the need for the quantity of printed materials, and the appreciation of quality are more and more numerous and complex. As a result, the printing facilities and printing technology are progressing. However, human knowledge is still advancing without limit. The demand for print quantity and the appreciation of quality are still advancing without limit. Of course, people who are engaged in printing technology must continue to advance without complacency in order to compete in the future.

Because of mutual research, we have learned the principles and experience of printing processes in various countries in the world in order to raise the level and interest of our printing technology, so we initiated this China Printing Society. We hope that all of China's printing technology people will unite and work together to make progress in China's printing technology. With China's printing process, we stand at the world's level; and then we work together with the printing technology companies of all countries in the world! We certainly know that our power is very small, and we are conscious of our responsibilities and must do what we desire to do. For this reason, we hope that all people in the country who share the same wish will be jointly responsible for the advancement of China's printing technology and the development of its business.
