Yangzi Petrochemical develops second-generation OF catalyst

It is reported that the second-generation OF catalyst developed by the Yangzi Petrochemical Research Institute has been successfully tested and put into production. After trial in the pilot plant, its performance indicators have reached the desired goal.
The OF catalyst used in the production of polypropylene devices has been imported from Japan and other countries at a high price before localization, and has become one of the “bottleneck” restricting product costs. In response, Yangzi Petrochemical Research Institute has successfully developed the first generation of high-efficiency OF catalyst products, replacing imported materials. On this basis, the Institute continued its research and completed the development of a new generation of catalysts in recent days. It has successfully put into production and has produced a new generation of high-quality products. This product overcomes the inconsistency of the “United States Sanitary Standards” that existed in the first generation of products. After trials on YPC's polypropylene pilot plant, all the indicators are in compliance with the requirements and will be put into large devices recently. Polypropylene products go out of the country and open up a broader market to create a market.
