The National Bureau of Statistics announced on the 11th that according to a survey of 60,000 enterprises in the above-scale cultural and related industries, the above-mentioned enterprises achieved operating income of 892.57 billion, an increase of 8.2% over the previous year.
Culture and related industries refer to the collection of production activities for cultural products and cultural related products for the public, including news information services, content creation and production, and creative design services.
According to the type of industry, the business income of cultural manufacturing industry was 380.4 billion yuan, up 4.0% over the previous year; the cultural wholesale and retail industry was 167.28 billion yuan, up 4.5%; the cultural service industry was 3.4454 billion yuan, up 15.4%.
In terms of industry categories, 7 of the 9 industries in the culture and related industries achieved growth in operating income. Among them, there are 3 industries with a growth rate of more than 10%, namely: news information service business income of 809.9 billion, an increase of 24.0% over the previous year; creative design services of 1106.9 billion, an increase of 16.5%; cultural communication channels of 10193 billion, an increase of 12.0% . There are two industries with negative growth rates: cultural and recreational services of 148.9 billion, down 1.9%; cultural investment operations of 41.2 billion, down 0.2%.
In terms of regions, the above-scale cultural and related industries in the eastern region achieved an operating income of 686.88 billion, accounting for 77.0% of the national total; the central, western and northeastern regions were 12.0 billion, 761.8 billion and 94.3 billion, accounting for 13.4% and 8.5 respectively. % and 1.1%. In terms of growth rate, the western region grew by 12.2%, the central region by 9.7%, the eastern region by 7.7%, and the northeast by 1.3%.
