China Plastic Packaging Inspection and Exchange Center unveiled in Chaozhou

On October 22, the China Plastic Packaging Inspection and Communication Center was unveiled in Chaozhou. More than 100 representatives from packaging companies, experts, and local packaging companies from Chaozhou attended the unveiling ceremony.

In recent years, the rapid development of China's plastic packaging industry, packaging materials performance is related to all aspects of food safety. As an assurance measure of quality and performance, testing has become more and more important. However, the detection capabilities of many domestic testing organizations and laboratories are uneven, and the accuracy and traceability of test data are not ideal. The establishment of the China Plastic Packaging Inspection and Exchange Center aims to create a first-class, fair and authoritative packaging inspection platform to promote the standardized development of the packaging inspection field, and also provide a sharing platform for the sharing of technologies and research results for the public in the packaging industry. Advantages of resources from all parties to achieve strong alliances to help China's plastic packaging industry accelerate development and transformation and upgrading.

After the unveiling ceremony, the annual meeting of the China Packaging Federation’s Plastics Committee Expert Committee and the Food Packaging Summit Forum were also held. The participating experts conducted extensive and in-depth discussions on the hot issues in the current plastic packaging industry such as food packaging, food safety, energy conservation and environmental protection.

During the interview, representatives from the packaging industry in Chaozhou believed that the hosting of this event not only helped promote the healthy and rapid development of the local food soft packaging products and equipment industry, but also helped improve the level of scientific research and product quality in Chaozhou.
