Contactless identification system: SIMATIC RF300

SIMATIC RF300 is a contactless identification system for the optimization and control of logistics in industrial production. It is mainly used for non-contact identification of containers or pallets, as well as workpiece holders for closed production cycles.

Its main features: operating frequency 13.56MHz, passive (no battery) transponder (tag), strong, compact components, high anti-interference ability, rich diagnostic capabilities, fast data transmission (in addition to IQ-Sense interface outside ), simple integration in SIMATIC and PROFIBUS DP.

Thanks to its compact design, including transceivers and read/write devices, the SIMATIC RF300 is suitable for small assembly lines and conveyor systems. The main areas of application are assembly and transport systems, assembly lines (eg identification of workpiece carriers), production logistics (logistics control, container and other container identification), part identification (eg installation of transponders on products or pallets), transport systems (E.g. elevated monorail conveyors).
