Why is Pokemon Go the most successful AR mobile game, although it is going downhill?

Although some analysts also said that Pokemon Go is already on the decline, SuperData believes that "Nintendo's mobile strategy has achieved results. Outdated 3DS sales of handhelds have increased by 50% compared to last year, including other Pokemon's other old game sales. Pokemon Go is the only factor contributing to these."
