Glass cosmetic bottle low-carbon hard to implement reasons

The 15th China Beauty Expo, a three-day event on May 19, 2010, was held at the Shanghai New International Convention and Exhibition Center.

In this exhibition, some companies put forward the concept of "low-carbon" packaging. First, low carbonization of packaging materials; second, low carbonization of processing methods; and third, low carbonization of transportation modes. The so-called low-carbon materials refers to the use of those materials that have long service life, such as glass bottles, which are easy to recycle; and low-carbon processing means that decals, spraying, and printing use low-temperature methods instead of high-temperature methods, which can significantly reduce energy consumption. The low carbonization refers to the transportation mode that uses the lowest energy cost per unit of product in the market that is different from the production company. For example, water transport, or sea transport is a transportation mode with lower energy consumption per unit.

However, from the perspective of the customer's response, there is no direct link between the increase in customers’ intention to place orders and the low carbon concept proposed by the company. This increase in order preference is more a reflection of the double superposition of the economic rebound in the post-crisis era and the effects of the Expo. This article wants to further explore the reasons behind the low-carbon concept being difficult to promote in domestic companies.

The low-carbon concept encountered in the actual trade of the current US Fair has to some extent reflected that the current development of business ethics in China is still in its infancy, and many companies still use profit as their only goal. The implementation of low-carbon technologies requires additional investment, which is exactly what most companies cannot tolerate. In addition, the economic origin of environmental pollution is due to the existence of environmental external diseconomy, that is, the influence of the producer or consumer's activities on the scope of the other producers and consumers beyond the subject, causing economic loss or additional to the latter. Fees, which are not borne by the actors but are borne by others or the society. This has led to the fact that companies as producers do not care about the "low-carbon" model, but instead of governments that are not directly linked to production, they are still relatively weak.
